How we plan an abnormal load

Consultation
We look at the cargo's weight, dimensions and lifting points, and agree the pick-up and delivery plan with you.

We check the route for bridges, weight limits, overhead lines and tight turns before anything moves.

Permits and risk assessment
We apply for the abnormal load permits and assess the risks on the route, with a plan for each one.

The move
The load is secured on the right trailer and moved on the planned route. You get updates until it is delivered.
Project cargo
Mining, energy and infrastructure projects need heavy equipment and materials delivered to site, often in a set order and to a schedule. We plan the transport around the project: what arrives first, where it is offloaded, and which pieces need special trailers or permits.
When the cargo arrives by sea, we clear it at the port as well, so you deal with one contact for the whole delivery.
